Mr. Robert Lee Gipson, age 70 of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He was born October 21, 1948, the son of the late Mr. James Gipson and Mrs. Genny Taylor Gipson. He worked at Gipson Electric as a Motor Rewinder. Mr. Gipson loved his grandchildren and family. He was always there for his family. He loved camping at the lake, enjoyed going hunting, and liked taking road trips. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Gipson; son, Robert Lee Gipson, Jr.; brothers, Jack Gipson, James Gipson, and Marvin Gipson; sisters, Betty Miller, Louise Reese, and Ruby Henslee. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Willis Gipson of Lithia Springs; daughters and son-in-law, Autumn and Billy Gattis of Villa Rica, Amanda Ramsey of Buford; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Renee Gipson of Villa Rica, Timmy Gipson of Douglasville, Robert Fields of Lithia Springs, and David Hunnings of Lithia Springs; eighteen grandchildren, Tiffany and Matthew Benedict of Dallas, Emily, Katie, Johnathan, and Ella Gipson of Villa Rica, Kylie, Marlie and Erin Dillashow of Villa Rica, Robbie, Taylor, Erica, Jordan, and Luke Gipson of Douglasville, Jacob, Olivia, and Anson Manha of Villa Rica, Gentry Gattis of Villa Rica, and Audrey Fields of Villa Rica; three great grandchildren, Lane Gipson, May Ratner, and Paislee Gipson. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Friday, March 1, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Eddie Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
