Mr. Robert Martin HummerMr. Robert Martin Hummer, age 56, of Temple, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019. He was born June 12, 1962 in Schweinfurt, West Germany. He retired from the US Army after 20 years of service as a SFC. He then retired from the Federal Air Marshal Service where he served for 16 years. Mr. Hummer loved his wife and girls. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Marie Forsyth.He is survived by his wife, Shannon Hummer of Temple; daughters, Katie Hummer of Carrollton and Emily Hummer of Temple; mother and step-father, Jutta and Berkley Harstead of Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.According to Mr. Hummer’s wishes, he was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
