Robert Hunt

Robert Roland Hunt, age 81, of Douglasville, GA and Sebring, FL passed away February 28, 2015. Bob was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Nelle Hunt, his wife Jinny Hunt and Brothers Jack Hunt and David Hunt, sisters Dottie Krecl and Mary Nelms. He is survived by sister Margie Freidheim of Dallas, TX, his son Gage Hunt, daughter in law Colleen Hunt and granddaughter Christina Hunt of Douglasville, GA. Bob grew up in his father’s restaurant “Hunt’s Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge” in Mt. Vernon, IL. He served as an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Air Force and Reserve. Bob’s career spanned over 40 years in the building products industry in Florida. He retired as sales manager from Taylor Distributors, Orlando, FL. He also was president of Employee Enterprises a real estate investment company. His lifelong hobbies included real estate investing, cabinet making, woodworking, fishing and extensive worldwide travel. Bob and JInny enjoyed over sixty cruises together in their many years of marriage. His wishes are for his ashes to be scattered at sea, like JInny’s, so that they may enjoy one final cruise together.
