Robert Jackson

Robert Jackson, 84, of Villa Rica, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1939, the son of the late Jessie Leon Jackson and the late Marie Payton Jackson.

Bob will always be remembered for his love and dedication to his family. He cherished every moment spent with them. He worked as a salesman for Mesker Door Company for several years. He had a passion for football and it was evident as he played during his college years at The Citadel. Beyond sports, he enjoyed reading his Bible and other activities such as golfing, traveling, and fishing with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Rose Criswell; brothers, Leroy Jackson and Bud Jackson; sisters, Shirley Fernandez, Norma Spence, and Betty Hope.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and Nick Rego, Stephanie and Cale Stuckenschneider all of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, Dianne Jackson of Villa Rica, brother-in-law, Moses Spence of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Robbie Sheets, Isabella Rose Rego, Brayden Stuckenschneider, Ava Rego, and Jackson Stuckenschneider; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated.
