Robert Jones

Robert “Bobby” Boyd Jones, age 66, of Douglasville, passed away, Tuesday, May 24, 2016. He was born September 1, 1949 in Atlanta, the son of the late Mr. John Boyd Jones and the late Mrs. Euna Pernoma Holcombe Jones. He was a Sunday School Teacher for 25 years for Midway United Methodist Church and founded the after school program. He was known for his sense of humor and contagious smile.He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hoefler Jones of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Whitney and Anson Patten of Douglasville; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Danielle Jones of Douglasville, John Boyd Jones, II of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Margaret Jones of Lindale; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, May 27, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday, May 27, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Boone and Rev. Ken Stephens officiating.
