Robert Lawson Karr

Robert Lawson Karr, age 92, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born September 25, 1930 in Atlanta, GA. The son of the late Mr. Gussie Lawson Karr and the late Mrs. Wealtha Maw Loudermilk. Mr. Karr was a Georgia Tech graduate and worked as an engineer. He enjoyed being outdoors and could often be found enjoying his tobacco pipe.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Tim Karr.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Karr; daughters, Susan (Rick) Hughes of Lynn Haven, FL, Kathy (Danny) Sutton of Dallas; step daughter, Julie Busse of Texas; step son, John Busse of Chicago, IL; sister, Gussie Vaughn of Hiram; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

According to Mr. Karr’s wishes he was cremated.
