Robert Kaschalk-Kaase

Mr. Robert John Kaschalk-Kaase, age 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, March 4, 2013. He was born May 14, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Georgia in 1971. He is the son of the late Mr. John Kaschalk and the late Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Bics Kaschalk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jon Christian Kaase. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a self-employed accountant. He was a strong believer in the Christian faith and he was an encourager to others in their faith. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kristopher and Leah Kaase of Brandon, Mississippi; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Nena Kaschalk of Avon Lake, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Hannah, Joel and Jordan Kaase. He will be missed and remembered by his many friends locally. According to the family’s wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
