Robert Eugene Lee

Robert Eugene Lee, age 79, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023. He was born September 30, 1946 in Union Hill, TN. He is the son of the late Mr. Robert Grundy Lee and the late Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Lassiter Lee. Mr. Lee was a talented wood worker and was a great hobby of his. He loved working in the yard and especially taking care of his flowers.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, John Lee; sister, Georgia Lee Kessler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Paula Lee; daughters, Kristi Lee Bates of Springfield, TN, Amy (Derrick) Drake of Douglasville, GA; sons, Robert Lee of Ridgetop, TN, Steven (Kendra) Lee of Hendersonville, TN, Britt Thomas of Douglasville, GA; sisters, Charlotte Wheeler, Shirley Hindsley, Susie (Michael) Yambrick all of White House, TN; grandchildren, Taylor, Colton, Skyler, Tanner, Cayden, Addy, Ethan, Olivia and Paul; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Wellington Baptist Church cemetery in Wellington, AL at 1:30 CST 2:30 EST.
