Robert Lee Atcheson

Mr. Robert Lee Atcheson, age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born November 28, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Mrs. Viola Elizabeth Brooks Fincher and the late Mr. Boyd Atcheson. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram. He worked as a welder and enjoyed working on old cars. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Dianna Sheryl and Paul Bagwell of Buchanan and Robin Atcheson of Georgia; sons, Robert Lowell Atcheson and Samuel Keith Atcheson both of Temple; his mother, Viola Elizabeth Brooks Fincher of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ray Vick of Lithia Springs; brother and sister-in-law, James Edward and Deborah Atcheson of Dallas; 5 grandchildren, Chad, Matthew, Robert, Kayla, and Jonathan; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 4:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. David Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, March 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
