Robert Leslie Hudson

Mr. Robert Leslie Hudson, 59, of Rainey Road, Temple Georgia passed away Monday, May 29, 2006 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. He was born September 20, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late Mr. Lawrence A. Hudson and the late Mrs. Goldie Edna Lewis Hudson. He was of the Baptist Faith. He married Mary Ruth Martin on February 13, 1978 in Jonesboro, Georgia. He was a truck driver for Old Dominion Freight Line. He enjoyed singing gospel music and was a part of the Bible Line Gospel Singers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Hudson, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Ruth Martin Hudson of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law, Keisha and David Yancey of Temple; one son, Robert Wayne Hudson of Jonesboro; one sister, Carol Pauley of Newport News, VA; 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 10:00 AM from the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Winston with Brother, Jerold Gann, Brother Ray Capps, Brother Fred Coalson, Brother David Gresham, and Brother Leon Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with the following serving as pallbearers: Richard Hitch, Donnie Gossett, David Martin, Fred Coalson, Cecil Cravett, and Troy Martin.
