Robert Milam

Mr. Robert Edward Milam (Bobby), 62, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016. He was born August 11, 1953 the son of the late Mr. Weyman Chesley Milam, Sr. and the late Mrs. Geneva Akins Milam. Robert married Sherry Nadine Milam on March 27, 1971 in Heflin, Alabama. Robert’s work career consists of American LaFrance where he worked as a parts manager, many years of laying floor covering, and Campbell Grading where he was a jack of all trades. In addition to Robert’s parents, he was preceded in death by brother, David Pruitt and sisters Melissa Ann Milam and Susan Milam Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherry Nadine Milam of Carrollton, GA; daughter and son-in-law Dawn Elaine Riddle and Thomas David Riddle of Cartersville, GA; daughter Christy Lynn Milam of Carrollton, GA; acquired son Chris Terry of Frankfort, KY; brother and sister-in-law Weyman Chesley Milam, Jr. and Lisa Milam of Lawrenceville, GA; sister and brother-in-law Ginger and Kenny Hendrix of Lawrenceville, GA. Three granddaughters, Breanna Miller, Megan Windam, and Ruby Woods; Grandson Sonny Windham; great-grandson, Cameron Wordell; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Bright Star Cemetery in Douglasville.
