Robert Adam Smith

March 17, 1975 — January 23, 2025

Robert Adam Smith, 49, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on January 23, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1975 to the late Donna Rachel Street Smith and Ronald Johnson Smith in Tampa, Florida.

He was known for his hard work and dedication to his family, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him. Robert's love for his wife and sons was evident in everything he did. A Florida sports lover, Robert’s heart belonged to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Florida State Seminoles. Outside of sports, he found joy in nighttime drives and family vacations to the mountains, particularly Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Robert enjoyed the simple things in life, like the banana splits from Mel’s Diner, and the show Duck Dynasty, often sharing laughs with his family over their favorite episodes.

Robert is survived by his wife, Christie Smith of Douglasville, Georgia; sons, Ryan and Matt Smith also of Douglasville, Georgia; and his beloved dog and furry friend, Lucy.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025 followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory Douglas Chapel. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory of Douglasville is in charge of arrangements.
