Mr. Robert Thomas Vickery, 77, of Temple, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007. He was born December 9, 1929 in Hogansville, Georgia; the son of the late Grady J. Vickery and the late Jessie Kimbrell Lentzner. Mr. Vickery retired from Globe Union Inc. where he was a foreman and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Vickery was also a disabled veteran of the United States Army / Air Force having served during the Korean conflict. He loved to play golf. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vickery was preceded in death by a son, Alfred Lee Vickery. Survivors include his wife, Francine Wilner Vickery of St. Augustine, Florida; daughter, Janine Chancey of St. Augustine, Florida; sons and daughter in-laws, Robert âTonyâ and Patricia Vickery of Lithia Springs; and Grady Jerome âSkipâ and Sherrie Vickery of Temple; one sister and brother in-law, Ella and Bill Herrmann of Douglasville; two brothers and sister-in-law, A.J. Vickery of Douglasville; and Henry Grady âBuddyâ and Shirley Vickery of Charleston, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 3:00 PM from Beulahland Baptist Church, 229 Pleasant Grove Rd., Rockmart, Georgia with Dr. Bill Winninger and Rev.
