Robert Melvin Tyson Mr. Robert Melvin Tyson, age 84, of Lithia Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012. He was born November 14, 1927 in Byromville, Georgia the son of the late Samuel Horatio Tyson and the late Mrs. Ida Eugenia Allen Tyson. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Carole Robinson of Lithia Springs, Mary and Jim Levy of Lithia Springs. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Home in Douglasville Friday, January 27, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Graveside Service will be conducted Friday, January 27, 2012 at 3:00 PM from Mozley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001. Interment will follow in Mozley Memorial Gardens.
