Robert Wayne Jeffares

Mr. Robert Wayne Jeffares, age 52, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Emory University Hospital. He was born August 15, 1956 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina the son of the late Mr. Robert James Jeffares and Mrs. Gladys Cassell Jeffares. He was a member of Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church and was devoted to his church family. Mr. Jeffares was an electrician and enjoyed sports. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Falcons fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert James Jeffares, on March 7th, 2008. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nichole and Garrett Wells of Hobbs, NM.; His beloved mother, Gladys Cassell Jeffares of Lithia Springs; Sisters and brothers-in law, Kathy Lynn and Kenneth Harbaugh of Villa Rica, Linda Sue and Randall Wilcox of Temple; Brother, Eddie James Jeffares of Douglasville; Granddaughter, Victoria Wells; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved church family. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 4th, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Shirley officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
