Robert Ziegler

Mr. Robert Ziegler, 72, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, May 18, 2018. He was born February 15, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the son of the late Mr. Frederick William Ziegler and the late Mrs. Dorothy May Minguez Ziegler. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He married Lorraine Vaughn on March 2, 1968. He retired from Sparks Exhibits as a Trade Show Builder. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lorraine Vaughn Ziegler of Villa Rica; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Christopher Ziegler of Douglasville and Michael and Kim Ziegler of Douglasville; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Ann and Darrell Franklin of Haralson County, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Joseph Maiuro of Douglasville; six grandchildren, Austin Franklin, Alexis Franklin, Erin Ziegler, Amanda Ziegler, Kevin Wheeler, Joshua Franklin; one great-grandchild, Ayden Coffey; and one joyful anticipated great-grandchild, Thomas Walker Harris; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 3:30 PM until 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Murphy, Matt Corley, Brad Rice, Gary Wright, and Jeff Vaughn. Military Honors will be provided by members of the Ft. Benning United States Army Honor Guard.
