Roberta "Bobbie" Forrest Dever

Mrs. Bobbie Dever Mrs. Roberta “Bobbie” Forrest Dever, age 76, of Villa Rica, Georgia formerly of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was born November 12, 1933 in Pensacola, Florida the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Charles Forrest, Sr. and the late Mrs. Emily Anna Peacock Forrest. She married David Dever on June 17, 1957 in Florida. She retired from Mercer University where she served as an educator. She was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dr. David Dever on February 28, 2010; and her brother, Robert C. Forrest, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Rusty Haynes of Villa Rica; sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew Dever of Senegal, Andrew and Linda Dever of Florida and Paul and Gigi Dever of the Philippines; 4 grandchildren, Josh Dever and Sara Dever both of Florida, Paula Dever of Philippines, and Nicholas Haynes of Villa Rica; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate a book to your favorite library in memory of Mrs. Dever. A Memorial Celebration will be conducted at a later date in Macon, Georgia.
