Mr. Robinson Battle âJoeâ Hardison, III, age 64, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008. Mr. Hardison was born in Orlando, Florida, the son of the late Mr. Robinson Hardison, II and Mrs. Josie Lawson Hardison. He worked as a property manager and was a veteran of the United States Air Force and Navy. Survivors include his daughter, Katherine Hardison of Union City; his son, Joseph Hardison of Robbinsville, North Carolina; his mother, Mrs. Josie Lawson Hardison of Wadesboro, North Carolina; his sister, Iris Hardison Wilbanks of Hartwell, Georgia; his brothers, Elliott Hardison of Charlotte, North Carolina and Lawson Hardison of Chesterfield, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Jimmy Fleming officiating. Mr. Terry Wyche, veteran chaplain of the Villa Rica American Legion Post #70, will render the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.
