Rodney Russell

Mr. Rodney Russell, 62, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. He was born June 25, 1946 in Hawthorne, CA, the son of the late Mr. Howard Russell and the late Mrs. Marie Rega Russell. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He worked as a Regulatory Investigator for the Secretary of State. He was a member and an elder of Cross Pointe Christian Church in Bremen. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Jones Russell of Villa Rica; son, Jeffrey Russell of Villa Rica; sisters, Kathy Russell of McEwen, TN, Nancilee J. Iozzia of Decatur, GA and Patsy A. Forbes of Nashville, TN; brothers, Donald W. Russell of Asheville, NC, Kirby Jeffreys of Nashville, TN, and Victor Jeffreys of New Albany, OH; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Cross Pointe Christian Church in Bremen.
