Rodney West

Rodney West, 66, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on October 30, 2022. He was the son of Rodney Samuel West and the late Barbara Elizabeth James West.

Mr. West was a very responsible and respectful man. He loved his family, especially his kids. Mr. West worked very hard to provide for his home and his family. He loved to joke around and do impersonations, he also loved to play Jazz.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Ileana Maritza Castillo West; father, Rodney Samuel West; daughter, Kimberly Castillo of Georgia; sons, Ruben Castillo of Georgia; Steven Viruet of New Jersey; and Rashid West of California; sister, Charlotte West of New York; brothers, Hasan West of Morocco, Darren West of New York, Guy West of California; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. West was cremated.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 5:00 PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Douglasville with Deacon Facundo Maldonado officiating.
