Mr. Ronald Frederick Morgan, 58, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 14, 2005 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Mrs. Edith Mariner Burbank and Major Frank Morgan. He was a manufacturing supervisor. He served as a Specialist 5 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Aircraft Crewman Badge. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Major Frank and Ruth Morgan of Atlanta; three sisters, Lisa Aspinwall of Cartersville, Barbara Clarke of Snellville, and Deborah Jackson of Boynton Beach, FL; one brother, Gregory David Morgan of East Point; two nieces, Christine Clarke and Stephanie Jackson; two nephews, Jeremiah Clarke and Raymond Jackson; his partner, Tillie Kindrick of Douglasville; special friends, Senona and James; and their children, Nathaniel and James Morgan. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Jorge Dalzotto officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
