Ronald McGreggor

Mr. Ronald Frederick McGreggor, age 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. He was born July 7, 1936 in Columbus, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Alva McGreggor and the late Mrs. Evelyn Clayton McGreggor. He married Patricia Smith on June 20, 1958. He retired from Kentec Power Tools where he worked as a Production Manager for many years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Smith McGreggor of Douglasville; daughters and son-in-law, Ellen Walker of Buchanan, Michelle and Robert Donohue of Austell; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Allen McGreggor of Orlando, FL, David and Kathryn McGreggor of Douglasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Fred Habacht of Mexico, Vicki and Randy Slaff of Canton; and four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Ed Stuber officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Gary Summerour, Chevy Richards, Chris Jennings, Shawn Hodgins, Chris Ziegler, and Randy Hill. Interment will at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, January 14, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
