Ronald McWatters

Mr. Ronald “Ron” Lee McWatters, age 72, of Villa Rica, passed away, Thursday, March 28, 2019, He was born April 3, 1946 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. Robert Tillman McWatters and the late Mrs. Edith Lorraine Farris McWatters. Mr. McWatters served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He retired from Leuco Tool in Villa Rica after many years of service. He loved college football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved his kids and grandkids and he was a loving husband. He loved to watch them play sports and supported them every chance he could. Mr. McWatters loved his yard and working in it, and he enjoyed reunions with his combat friends from the 4th – 22nd Infantry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, June Tillitson McWatters; son, Chris Pace.He is survived by his wife, Lynn Pace McWatters of Villa Rica; daughters and son-in-law, Chris and Dewayne Johnson of Dallas, Sheri Jones of Odenville, AL; daughter-in-law, Cathy Pace of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Kim Pace of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Rusty Brannon of Douglasville; brother, Robert “Bob” McWatters of Navarre, FL; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Shiloh Baptist Church in Villa Rica with Brother Happy Howard and Mr. Dwayne Pace officiating.
