Ronald Roberts

Mr. Ronald Eugene Roberts, 54, of Temple, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. He was born December 19, 1960 in Douglas County, Georgia the son of Mrs. Sallie Ruth Tucker Hurd and the late Mr. Harold Coleman Roberts. He worked in the carpet manufacturing industry and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, growing flowers, yard work, gardening in the vegetable garden, and babysitting Dennis’ grandkids. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Roberts. He is survived by wife, Tammy Marie Roberts; sons and a daughter-in-law, Brandon and Pamela Roberts; and Michael Roberts all of Calhoun; his mother and stepfather, Sallie Ruth Tucker Hurd and John Anthony Hurd of Carrollton; his siblings and their spouses, David and Regina Roberts of Waco, Donna and Hugh Gosnell of Temple, Donald and Betty Roberts of Calhoun, and Kenneth and Vickie Roberts of Douglasville; two grandchildren, Courtney Roberts and Savannah Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Roberts and Elliegh Roberts; aunts and uncles, Ellen and Robert Morgan of Temple and James M. Tucker of Douglasville; several cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers: Lee Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Dausin Solum, LaRue Roberts, Doug Morgan, Shane Roberts and Matt Hanson.
