Ronald Updegrove

Mr. Ronald Gene Updegrove, age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1935 in Boyertown, Pennsylvania the son of the late Mr. Wallace Updegrove and the late Mrs. Erma Stauffer Updegrove. He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Hiram. He was actively employed at Tactical Armor Group where he was a Master Fabricator. He had a keen interest in aviation and enjoyed restoring World War II vehicles and carving wooden figures. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Swenson Updegrove. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Derek Updegrove of Douglasville, Darryl and Melissa Updegrove of Panama City, FL, and Kyle and Kathyln Updegrove of Smyrna; two sisters; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Hiram. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
