Ronald"Ronny" Petty

Mr. Ronald “Ronny” Anderson Petty, age 56, of Austell, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He was born November 26, 1955 in Douglasville, Georgia the son of Mrs. Bertha Fleming Vaughn and the late Mr. Millard Anderson Petty. He retired from ART Plumbing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan McClain. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Goodson Petty of Austell; his mother, Bertha Fleming Vaughn of Douglasville; daughter, Serena Gail Goodson of Gainesville; grandson, Ronny Edwin Goodson of Austell and granddaughter, Hazel Missouri “Missy” Bullock of Calhoun; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Dennis Smith of Powder Springs, Carol Petty of Mableton, Cindy and Barry Wigington of Silver Creek, Allison and Wayne White of Douglasville, Amy and Robbie Cronan of New Market, AL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Sullens of Cornelia, Ray and Gail Ludwig, of Clarksville, Roger Ludwig of Cleveland, Cathy and Derrick Dodd of Toccoa; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be private. According to the family’s wishes, his body was cremated.
