Roseanne Jennings Wagner, age 86, a cherished mother, dedicated professional, and vibrant spirit, passed away on October 10, 2024. She was born on May 1, 1938, in South Bound Brook, New Jersey, to the late Mr. Stanley Jennings and the late Mrs. Helen Teryek Jennings.

 

Roseanne’s life journey was marked by her unwavering dedication to others and an infectious joy that brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a testament to her commitment to caring for those in need. She dedicated her career to serving her community at the Cobb and Douglas Public Health Department, where she worked notably with The Georgia Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP).

 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Roseanne was a loving host known for her warmth, hospitality and strong faith. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Douglasville, Georgia for many years. She also took great delight in celebrating life’s moments, particularly during the Christmas season when her letters became beloved traditions among family and friends. With a wicked sense of humor and a sassy personality (when it was needed), she brought laughter into every gathering. Roseanne had a remarkable ability to connect with people, often saying she never met a stranger. Her selfless and dependable nature ensured that she was always there for others, embodying the true essence of friendship and care.

 

A proud mother, Roseanne's greatest accomplishments were undoubtedly her sons, whom she loved devotedly.

 

In addition to her parents, Roseanne is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Mr. Robert John Wagner; brothers, Larry Jennings and Tom Jennings; sister, Deborah Bates.

 

She is survived by her two sons, Bobby Wagner and his wife, Jennie, Randy Wagner and his wife, Tanya; daughter in love, Stephanie Kluttz; grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, Sydney and Carrie; brother, George Jennings; as well as extended family and friends.

 

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Roseanne Wagner was cremated. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Douglasville, Georgia - 4401 Prestley Mill Road, Douglasville, GA 30135 .
