Ross Paul Pirkle

Mr. Ross "Paul" Pirkle, age 71, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, January 10, 2020. He was born October 24, 1949 in Douglasville, Georgia, the son of the late Ross JR Dustin Pirkle and the late Lizzie Mae Cox Pirkle. Mr. Pirkle worked as a tile layer for several years. He loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar and piano, and riding horses. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pirkle is preceded in death by his son, Paul Pirkle. Mr. Pirkle is survived by his wife, Linda Wilkerson Pirkle of Villa Rica; his children, Melissa Pirkle of Villa Rica, Carlos Pirkle of Villa Rica, Melinda (Daryl) Watson of Waco, Carl (Julie) Pirkle of Temple, and Sonya Swafford of Villa Rica; sisters, Dale Gilstrap of Savannah, Minnie Pirkle of Haralson County and Cora Rushton of McDonough; brothers, Johnny Pirkle of Villa Rica, Hugh Pirkle of Savannah and Carlos Pirkle of Villa Rica; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Monday, January 13, 2020 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica from 1:00PM until 3:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 13, 2020 at 3:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Villa Rica with Brother Steve White officiating and eulogy provided by grandson, Jesse Pirkle.
