Mrs. Roxie Mae Tant Stanford, age 71, of Paulding County, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was born in Powder Springs, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. James Jackson Tant and the late Mrs. Mae Leonar Hayes Tant. Mrs. Stanford worked in an office with personnel and shipping. She enjoyed crafting, reading, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husbands, William Lee Stanford, Sr. and Jimmy Graham; her son, James Jackson Graham; her brothers, Curtis Tant, Robert Tant and Billy Tant; her sisters, Ellen Holden, Christine Fuller and Ann Clayton; her grandson, Alex Graham; and great-grandchildren, Bryson Watkins and Zayden Watkins.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mona Lisa Graham Walker and Bruce Walker of Dallas, her son, Stephen Foster Graham of Marietta; her sisters-in-law, Laverne Woods of Macon and Doris Tant of Villa Rica; her brother-in-law, Jeff Clayton of Lithia Springs; daughters-in-law, Stephanie Graham of Douglasville and Veronica Graham of Athens; grandchildren, Michael Meherg of Dallas, Krista and Chris Couch of Dallas, Justin and Camera Graham of Douglasville, Kimberly and Joshua Chambers of Dallas, Daniel and Courtney Graham of Texas, Rebbecca and Michael Watkins of Dallas, Joshua and Madison Graham of Germany, and Dakota Graham of Douglasville; great-grandchildren, Noah Walker, Jewelliana Couch, Kenzlee Graham, Paizlee Graham, Savannah Couch, Hannah Couch, Skylar Watkins, Michaela Watkins, Payton Watkins, Carter Graham, Braylon Meherg, Teagan Meherg, Charleigh Meherg, Jimmy Meherg, April McDermott and Blake Watkins; her special companions, Lucy and Demon; and many nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Douglasville, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00PM Joey Tant officiating. Interment will follow in Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
