Roy Alexander McLeod, III

Mr. Roy Alexander McLeod, III, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, five days before his 53rd birthday. He was born March 26, 1967 in Miami, FL the son of Mr. Roy Alexander McLeod, Jr. and Mrs. Iris A. Comer McLeod. He was a member of North Peachtree Baptist Church. He attended Peachtree High, graduating from North Hall High in Gainesville. Alex and his father owned and operated two Midas Shops in Douglasville and Lithia Springs for over 20 years. He is survived by his fiancé, Cherrie Moore of Lithia Springs; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Chelsea McLeod of Cumming, Hayden McLeod of Atlanta; father and mother, Roy and Iris McLeod of Douglasville; sister, Sharan Ann Lester of Cartersville; two darling grandsons, Knox and Aiden; several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. The family will have a private visitation at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville due to the Covid-19 regulations at this time. Private Graveside services for the family will be conducted at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
