Roy Johnson

Mr. Roy Lee Johnson age 76, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Metter, Georgia. He was born August 15, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the son of the late Mr. Lonus William Johnson and the late Mrs. Gladys Sowers Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked as a printer and proof reader. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Earlene Dameron Johnson of Carrollton; his sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy Lee and Linda Johnson of Villa Rica and Roy Edward “Eddie” Johnson of Kennesaw; his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia “Cindy” and John Robinson of Villa Rica; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry William and Louise Johnson of Alpharetta, and Jack and Jean Johnson of Douglasville; five Grandchildren, Stan Johnson of Carrollton, Jeremy Johnson of Douglasville, Brett Ledbetter of Douglasville, Chelsea Johnson of Dallas, Georgia, and Addison Johnson of Dallas, Texas; two great grandchildren, Zachary Johnson of Powder Springs and Ayden Parker of Dallas, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 1:30 until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Larry Scott officiating.
