Roy Lawson Wallace

Mr. Roy Lawson Wallace, age 85, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was born November 21, 1934 in Douglasville, Georgia, the son of the late Jefferson Lee Wallace and the late Ethel Viola Taylor. He was a veteran of the United States Army and owned and operated Wallace Explosives. Mr. Wallace loved to fish and enjoyed anything outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Jean Wallace; his brothers, Ralph Wallace and Jefferson Lee "Buck" Wallace and his grandson, Chad Wallace. Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Bonnie Jackson Wallace of Douglasville; his daughter, Lynn Wallace Thomas of Douglasville; his son, Jerry Lee Wallace of Douglasville; his sister, Jeannie Latham Malcolm; his brothers, Howard Wallace and Richard Wallace; 2 grandchildren, Bridgit Tolentino and Megan Daniel; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
