Mr. Roy Lenver Morrow, age 72, of Temple, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Redmond Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. He was born March 22, 1938, the son of the late Mr. Clarence Roy Morrow and the late Mrs. Myrtice Viola Steed Morrow. He retired after 30 years of service as plant operator for Youngâs Refinery and was of the Baptist Faith. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed swimming and putt-putt golf. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Gravitt Morrow; sisters, Opal, Grace, and Edna Pearl; and brother, Clarence, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Myers of Villa Rica, Sarah Lou Morrow of Douglasville, Cindy Morrow of Temple and Sadie Morrow; sons, Tony Morrow of Villa Rica and Roy Winfred Morrow of Heflin, AL; brother, Junior Morrow of Temple; grandchildren, Bradley Morrow, Christina Myers, Taylor Morrow, Breanna Morrow, Tiffany Myers, Randy Morrow, Troy Morrow, Sandy Morrow, Payton Morrow, Jason Morrow and Michael Morrow; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery Paulding County. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.
