Roy Wendell Smallwood

Roy Wendell Smallwood, age 46, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. He was born May 4, 1963 in Villa Rica to the late Mr. Roy Willard Smallwood and Mrs. Ruby Lambert Smallwood. Mr. Smallwood enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sons Craig Smallwood and Todd Smallwood of Villa Rica; his mother Ruby Smallwood; sister and brother-in-law Deborah and William Cole; brothers and sister-in-law Garry and Vicki Smallwood, and Larry Collins; a niece, Shelley Tant and nephews Josh and Chad Smallwood; several great nieces and great nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel with Rev. Shae Tallent officiating. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers, Craig, Chad and Josh Smallwood, Mason, Andrew and Marcus Newman, and Jeff Tant. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
