Ruben Robinson

Mr. Ruben L. Robinson, age 87, of Dallas, passed away, Tuesday, April 23, 2019. He was born April 14, 1932 in Paulding County, the son of the late Mr. Vester Robinson and the late Mrs. Nelli Joe Leatherwood Robinson. Mr. Robinson served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He later worked for Lockheed-Martin retiring after 32 years. He loved farming, working on his farm and church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Robinson and Fred Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doris Kate Osborne Robinson of Dallas; his wife’s daughter, Cathy and Larry Brown of Dallas; two grandchildren, Mandy and Casey Wade, Chris Brown; three great grandchildren, Cassidy, Carson, and Kaley; four Godchildren, Charles, Kristina, Melinda, and Caden Downey; sisters-in-laws, Jane Robinson of Dallas, Madge Robinson of Dallas; one niece, Iris Kent and one nephew, Lee Robinson also survives. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, April 26, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby McDowell, Rev. Jeff Childers, Rev.
