Ruby Hubbard

Mrs. Ruby Mildred Gilley Hubbard of Carrollton passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Joe Brown Gilley and the late Mrs. Jenny Crawford Gilley. She was the owner of Hubbard Trucking Company and was a member of Midway Macedonia Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eldridge B. Hubbard; son, Joseph Daniel Hubbard; brothers, Ezra Gilley, Claude Gilley, Roy Gilley, Herbert Gilley, Horace Gilley, Dorsey Gilley and Grady Gilley; sisters, Clara Gilley, Lucille Gilley, Annie Dickey and Arizona Boatright. She is survived by her sister, Lenoria Gladney of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; brother, Virgil Gilley of Cartersville, Georgia; three nieces, Carol and Ray Ratliff of Carrollton, Deloris and Willis Wiggins of Villa Rica, Sherrie and Harvey Person of Douglasville. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, April 13, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Fred Cooke officiating and Mayor Harvey Persons.
