Ruby Inez Radcliff

Ruby Inez Bivins Radcliff, 98, of Newell, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. She was born on March 23, 1926, the daughter of the late James Jackson Bivins and the late Rilla Mae Sloan Bivins.

She was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of all who knew her with her caring and loving nature, particularly to those in her family. Inez was known for her warm smile that could brighten the gloomiest of days. She possessed a fierce determination and stubbornness when she believed in something. Inez’s love for cooking was matched only by her passion for taking care of children. These hobbies brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lester Radcliff; grandson, Josh Radcliff, son-in-law, Ray Seals; grandson-in-law, Keith Brumbelow; brothers, Herman Bivins, Jim Bivins, Raymond Bivins, Johnny Bivins; sisters, Louella Boyd, Elsie George, Emma Lou Bivins, Dollie Faye and Sue Hamrick.

She is survived by her children, Freda Seals of Newell, Alabama, Larry (Brenda) Radcliff of Bremen, Barry (Teresa) Radcliff of Temple, and Jerry Radcliff; sister, Doris Williams of Villa Rica, grandchildren, Melanie Morgan, Lori Brumbelow, Brittany Johnson, Cory Radcliff, Harley Moran, Destiny Radcliff; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel with Pastor David Bivins officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park.

Inez leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and lasting memories that will be cherished by all fortunate enough to have known her. Her kind-heartedness and warm spirit will continue to inspire those who carry her memory forward. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of many.
