Ruby Worthan

Mrs. Ruby Mae Worthan entered peacefully into eternal rest with Jesus Christ on October 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett Worthan, son, Eugene Worthan, Parents, Mansferd B. Ray and Minnie C. Ray Buice and brother, Melvin B. Ray. She is survived by son, Gary Worthan of Villa Rica; daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Calvin Collins and Linda and Karl Hall all of Villa Rica, and Joyce and Dennis Sullivan of Graham, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Worthan; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her baby, “Dutch” her dog. Mrs. Worthan was a homemaker. She loved Jesus with all her heart, going to church when she was able, her family and reading. She attended Full Gospel Church on Paradise Lake Road in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, October 9, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. John George and Rev. Eddie Allen officiating. Interment will follow at New Georgia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Calvin Collins, Karl Hall, Douglas Collins, Tim Ivey, David Ivey and David McFall.
