Ruth Hackney

Mrs. Ruth Hackney, age 84, of Lithia Springs, passed away Wednesday December 8, 2011 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell. She was born May 20, 1927 in Fulton County, Georgia. She was a home maker and a member of the County Line Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Dean Hackney and her son, Larry Hackney. She is survived by her four daughters: Gloria Jean Tucker of Villa Rica, Linda Hirsh of Florida, Valerie Green and Becky Radford both of Lithia Springs, grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday December 10, 2011 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday December 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, with Rev. Jerry Adair officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery.
