Mrs. Ruth Helena Taylor Morgan, age 78, of Chamblee, GA passed away, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born January 2, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late David Taylor and the late Mrs. Helena Lowe Taylor. She was a member of the Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta. She worked with the office staff for Jim Ellis Volkswagon. After retirement, she enjoyed being Dr. Paul Walker’s office volunteer. Survivors include her husband, Major Frank George Morgan of Chamblee, two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Morgan-Aspinwall and Steve Aspinwall of Cartersville and Barbara and Blaine Clarke of Snellville, son and daughter-in-law, Gregory David and Julie Anne Morgan of East Point, sisters, Ethel Taylor of Carlisle, PA and Florence Taylor Sevitski of Lansdale, PA, 2 grandchildren, Christine Ashley and Adam Marcum of Jacksonville, FL and Jeremiah Morgan Clarke of Snellville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Private Graveside Services were conducted, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Rev. Kent Hawkins officiating. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta.
