Ruth Ogle Cole

Mrs. Ruth Ogle Cole, age 92 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020. She was born December 26, 1927 in Dallas, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Noah Ogle and the late Mrs. Grace Plunkett Ogle. She enjoyed road trips and being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Cole was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by first husband, Marvin C. Jones; brothers, George Ogle, Harold Ogle, Paul Ogle; sisters, Wilma Hitchcock and Elizabeth Watts; grandchildren, Joey Coutu and Stephanie Taylor. Mrs. Cole is survived by daughter, Gail Shanley of Hayesville, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, David Marvin and Judy Jones of Dallas, Georgia; five grandchildren, Jeremy and Paige Jones, Corrinne and Robert Stack, Megan and Christopher Simpson, Jason Coutu, and Melanie Strickland; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. A Private Graveside Service will be conducted at New Georgia Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stell and Dr. James Burdette officiating. Interment will follow at New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery.
