Mrs. Sally Grace Layton Lawler, 94, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, March 24, 2006 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehab Center in Douglasville, Georgia She was born July 1, 1911, in Carroll County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Garvey Layton and the late Alice Hardin Layton. Mrs. Lawler was a member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buford J. Lawler; her daughter, Dorothy Lawler; one brother and three sisters. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Margaret and Tom Smith of Mableton, Betty Jo Bryant of Douglasville and Alline P. Taormina of Villa Rica; her sons and daughters-in-law, Noble and Janie Lawler of Villa Rica; Richard and Emily Lawler of White and Larry and Diane Lawler of Lithia Springs; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 27, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Gary Eudy and Rev. Earl Stinnett officiating. Interment will follow at Prays Mill Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, March 26, 2006 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
