Sally Elaine Monk

Ms. Sally Elaine Monk, age 65, of Douglasville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. She was born July 24, 1958 in Atlanta to the late Mr. John Monk and the late Mrs. Christina Paton Monk. Born into a loving family as the youngest of six siblings, she treasured her family and friends and held them close to her heart throughout her life. Sally was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs. She will be missed dearly by those she held close to her.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Bruce; sister, Nancy Ellen Franklin.

She is survived by her sister, Susan Brewer of Douglasville; brothers, J.H. Monk, Jr. of Bonita Springs, FL and Robert A. Monk of Madison, GA.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. – Romans 8:18

According to Ms. Monk’s wishes she was cremated, no services planned at this time.
