Sally Sullivan

Mrs. Sally Maxine Wadsworth Sullivan, 84, of Temple, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016. She was born August 19, 1932 in Paulding County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Hawkins Wadsworth and the late Mrs. Eva Lucille Goolsby Wadsworth. She was a Proverbs 31 woman, devoting her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated Pastor’s wife and helped him serve in his ministry. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Fellowship Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Emmett Savoy Sullivan on July 8, 2011; sisters, Lucille Cohran, Doris Patterson, Dolly Nixon, Elizabeth Woodruff, and Martha Hosmer; and brothers, Jack Wadsworth, George Wadsworth, Junior Wadsworth, and Clyde Wadsworth. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Sullivan of Douglasville, Shelba and Larry Cothran of Douglasville, and Dianne and Keith Goodson of Rockmart; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Tony Sullivan of Temple, Ricky and Edna Sullivan of Temple, and Samuel Sullivan of Bremen; one sister, Shirley Brown of Hogansville; one brother, Freddie Wadsworth of Douglasville; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Jerris Flowers officiating.
