Samantha Jo Kaska

Samantha Jo Kaska, affectionately known as Sam, 43, of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026. She was born on June 22, 1983, the daughter of Sharon Allred and William Hewitt.

Sam will be remembered as a kind person and a caregiver to others. She gave of herself generously to all of those who knew her. That spirit of compassion was a defining part of her life.

She found joy in the things she loved most. Sam was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. She loved animals, especially cats, and enjoyed listening to country music. Above all, she loved her nieces and nephews dearly, and that love held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Sarah Hewitt and Cheyenne Hewitt both of Montrose, Colorado; brother, Zachary Hewitt; maternal grandmother, Jean M. Allred of Villa Rica; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at First Church of The Nazarene in Douglasville at 4:00 PM.

Those who knew Sam will remember her caring presence, and the happiness she brought them. Her memory will be held close by all who loved her
