Sara Irene Tatum Tyson

Mrs. Sara Irene Tatum Tyson, age 84, of County Line Road, Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell, Georgia. She was born September 4, 1924 in Duluth, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Avery Tatum and the late Mrs. Vera Tatum. She worked as a computer operator for May & Company Distribution. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Tyson was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Mr. Robert Melvin Tyson of Lithia Springs; her daughters and son-in-law, Carole Robinson and Mary and Jim Levy, all of Lithia Springs; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia with interment immediately following. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Monday, December 29, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
