Sara Lou Raburn, 92, of Temple, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Raburn was born July 21, 1916 in Heard County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Siemon Otha Harris and the late Alice Costly Harris. Mrs. Raburn was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Christian Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed spending time growing flowers and also cooking many wonderful meals for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Lee Kittle; son, Ernest Jack Kittle, grandchild, Sherrie Diane Kittle, sisters, Annie Dunlop Hall, Cora Kittle, Ruby Harris, Essie Costly, and Sue Costly; and brothers, Troy Harris, Harvey Harris, Charley Harris, and Hurley Harris. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Stanley Raburn of Temple; son and daughter in-law, Jimmy Claude and Katherine Kittle of Bowden; daughters, Janice Kittle Talley of Temple; and Sheila Raburn Balega of Temple; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, July 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Tom Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM.
