Sarah Frances Ferguson

Mrs. Sarah Frances Ferguson, 86, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born November 22, 1922 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Owen Thomas Roberts and the late Mrs. Dolly Lott Roberts. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Mableton and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Ferguson on May 2, 2004; brother, Jack Roberts and sister, Cicil Parris. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Elmon Willis of Snellville; her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Ferguson of Douglasville; sister, Nell Strickland of Carrollton; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, December 1, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
