Sarah Jeanne Fountain

Mrs. Sarah "Jeanne" Fountain, age 75 of Winston, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019. She was born September 27, 1944 in Douglas County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Bernard Brooks and the late Mrs. Eris Marion Hines Brooks. Mrs. Fountain worked as a secretary for an ambulance service and as activity director at Garden Terrace Nursing Center. She enjoyed singing, riding motorcycles and spending time in the mountains. Mrs. Fountain loved church, animals and her grandchildren. She was a member of Life Church in Lithia Springs. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fountain was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy David Fountain, Jr.; her brothers, Jimmy Brooks and Tracy Brooks; and her sister-in-law, Lois Brooks. Mrs.Fountain is survived by her husband, Jimmy David Fountain, Sr. of Winston; her daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Jeff Henslee of Winston; her sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Carroll of Carroll County and Linda and Drew Bennett of Fulton County; her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Linda Brooks; grandchildren, Tiffany Mayfield of Winston, Brandi and Justin Whited of Troup County, Kattie Minter of Villa Rica, Mallorie Fountain of Troup County, Will Fountain of Florida, Heather Henslee of Carroll County, Amber Vaughn of Carroll County, Kaitlin Christmas of Carroll County and Andrew Mayfield of Villa Rica; great-grandchildren, Andrew "Bobo" Mayfield, Bryson Whited, Lyla Whited, Rylan Vaughn and Lovanna Christmas;and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 4, 2019 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville with Reverend Alan Waldrop and Reverend James Masengill officiating.
