Sarah Connell King

Sarah Frances King, 93, of Mableton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. She was born on August 28, 1928. She is the daughter of the late G.C. Connell and the late Etta Bell Garrett.

She loved her family and cherished her time with them.  She enjoyed her Sunday school class, walking, reading, traveling to the beach and talking to her friends on the phone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raphel Ray King; brother, Paul Connell; great grandson, Hunter Ray Pannell. She is survived by her son Mark King of Douglasville; four grandchildren, Jamie and Eric Pannell of Villa Rica, Jessica and Russell Hamilton of Villa Rica, Jenna and Brian Neal of Douglasville, Sam and Rajul King of Mableton; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. The funeral service will be Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 11:00 AM from Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers, Eric Pannell, Russell Hamilton, Brian Neal, Sam King, and Austin Pannell.
